Northwestern Air's charter experience has been gained through the provision of services to a full array of customers located in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, and the southern provinces. Charter services for mining companies and government tendered trips make up the majority (35 years) of the companies charter service history.
In addition, Northwestern Air has provided as-and-when-required medical air travel service since 1985 on a territorial wide basis. Extensive medical charter experience has been acquired as a result of emergency "medivac" charters from remote communities to locations where services are available.
Northwestern Air has also provided "scheduled air charter services" for other mining projects that have required weekly mine crew rotations.
Charters are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, out of both Fort Smith and Yellowknife.
